Programmed : 3Com 3c905B-TX-NM Boot Flash Memory This chip is programmed to enable the network board to boot a Linux kernel from a server. The chip is designed for the very popular 3Com 3c905B-TX-NM (Non-managed) network boards, having a 32 pin socket. Simply inserting this chip into the bootrom socket will enable the bootrom. When you boot up the workstation, it will begin broadcasting for a DHCP and then a bootp server.
