Programmed : Linksys LNE100TX v2.0 Boot ROM This chip is programmed to enable the network board to boot a Linux kernel from a server. The chip is designed for Linksys LNE100TX v2.0 network boards, having a 28 pin socket. Simply inserting this chip into the bootrom socket will enable the bootrom. When you boot up the workstation, it will begin broadcasting for a DHCP and then a bootp server. An important thing to know is that Linksys has shipped at least 4 different versions of this network card. Each with a slightly different chipset. This bootrom is designed specifically for version 2.0 of the LNE100TX. It MUST have a chip that says: "LC82C115". The older LNE100TX boards require a different bootrom.
